Replica of Elijah's Mount Carmel Victory
Below follows a Testimony of a Pastor in California, of how they implemented the Replica of Elijah's Mount Carmel Victory in their county
Mendocino Coast Prayer of Repentance & Declaration
A small band of participants gathered on the slopes of Bald Hill just outside of Fort Bragg at the McGuire Ranch (1,000 acres with 200 head of cattle) to repent and “declare His praise the coastlands” Isaiah 42:12. With the Isaiah 58 vision in hand, which we read responsively, we sang, repented and proclaimed the Lordship of Jesus over the Mendocino Coast from Gualala to USAL (the Lost Coast). Participants included the pastor and his wife, the clean & sober (6 months) poster child for medical marijuana, a former Catholic priest living at the Hospitality House (homeless shelter), a single evangelist living in her vehicle awaiting litigation to move into her home, and our church deaconess/bookkeeper. We also hosted three off-site prayer leaders: Chris Leeper who had just concluded the Unite San Diego prayer event; Ivy Otto, a retired veteran missionary to Uganda and Julian Medel a member of the Pomo Tribal leadership and of the recently reopened House of Yahweh in Covelo, Round Valley.
For repentance we read Paul’s list in Galatians 5:19-21:
“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like…”
After participants prayed with a focus on the next generation “sons and daughters” for God to pour out His Spirit on them, we concluded reciting the Lord’s Prayer and singing “The Blessing” from Deuteronomy 6:24-26 over the coast.
